IDEAS
The project began with exploring ’Ideas for the idea Store’. Schools and community groups in the area where asked to express what an ‘idea’ might look like visually.
Ideas 2004
Everyone thinks of light bulbs, but what these young people have created are vibrant images of light coming out of darkness, seeds germinating, making connections and seeing patterns in things. The plan is to then turn these stunning images into physical form and surround the Idea Store with ‘ideas’ made of different materials shapes and colours. They could be turned into mosaics, etched glass, paving, lighting, seating, banners.
